Hi there! I’m Grace, and my goal is to blend strategic + organized processes with creativity to craft innovative experiences for audiences.

About me

My name is Grace Xu (she/her), and I'm an undergraduate at UC Irvine double-majoring in economics and sociology and minoring in digital arts.

Ever since I first picked up a violin, I’ve been fascinated by the harmony of creativity and discipline. That passion has carried me through a variety of creative pursuits—from designing UI/UX projects to exploring the intersection of art and strategy. Because of this, I’ve set my sights on a career in marketing, where I can blend my love for creativity with my knack for organization and strategy. That said, I’m always open to new opportunities that align with my skills and curiosity.

Outside of academics and career goals, I’m a lifelong learner, a devoted strawberry matcha lover, and someone who still hasn’t quite mastered the art of posing for photos. When I’m not buried in my drawing pad, you’ll probably find me immersed in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or chasing the perfect shot with my camera. 📸 📸

What I’m up to…

This past fall, I had the rewarding opportunity to be the Associate Counselor of my business fraternity, Lambda Phi Nu. In this role, I planned 2-day retreats for our new recruits, the quarterly tradition of Big/Little Reveal that invited all alumni, acted as a 24/7 resource for new recruits, and more.

During the summer of 2024, I had an incredible time studying abroad at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo, Japan! Be sure to check out some of my travel photos in my photo album.

I’m very grateful for the opportunity of interning at ScaleAgent during the summer of 2023, a startup SaaS that helps realtors with all things digital marketing so they can reach their audience on a deeper level.

I was able to learn how to to execute and optimize diverse, inbound marketing strategies in order to keep ScaleAgent at the forefront of innovation and authenticity. I’ve developed skills in copywriting, content creation, social media management, content strategy, email marketing, optimization, and market research.

By maintaining consistent and engaging posts during marketing campaigns, I effectively showcased my strategic and creative approach, which resulted in a 128% increase in ScaleAgent’s LinkedIn following and 86% increase in engagement rates.
